Warranty Policy
What's covered, for how long, and how to start a claim if something needs attention.
Coverage at a Glance
Artificial Christmas trees, covering structural issues (branches, hinges, stands) and lighting problems from the date of purchase.
Clearance, Open Box / final-sale items, wreaths, garlands, and accessories — same coverage terms, shorter window.
Not covered under either window: loose branch tips, flocking wear, light shedding, or the occasional single burned-out bulb — these are considered normal wear rather than defects.
Before You File a Claim
A lot of issues can be sorted out with basic troubleshooting first. Log into your order, pick the order in question, and choose "Product Troubleshooting & Claims" to walk through the steps. If that doesn't resolve it, you can move forward with a formal claim from the same place.
Please don't attempt independent repairs outside instructions we've provided directly — doing so can damage the item and will void the warranty.
How the Claims Process Works
Submit your claim the same way — through your order, under "Product Troubleshooting & Claims." Include photos or video of the issue; it helps us diagnose the problem faster and more accurately. A team member will follow up after reviewing it. Depending on what's found, the outcome could be additional troubleshooting, a replacement part, a replacement section, a full replacement, or another resolution of similar value. Some claims take a few back-and-forth messages to fully sort out.
Returns & Exchanges
What's the return window?
Eligible items (some exclusions apply) can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery — but never after December 20th of that year, even if you're still inside the 30-day window.
Is return shipping free?
Outbound shipping is free, but returns carry a shipping and handling fee, deducted from your refund. Larger trees or multi-box orders carry a higher fee given their size.
What isn't eligible for return?
Items must come back in original King of Christmas packaging. Open Box and clearance items are final sale. Trees 15 feet and taller aren't eligible for return or exchange at all.
How does an exchange work?
We place a hold on your card for the full value of the exchange item. If your original item isn't shipped back to us within 14 days, that hold converts into an actual charge. If the replacement you're exchanging into is worth less than the original, a fee equal to half the original shipping cost applies; exchanging for equal or greater value carries no shipping fee.
Can I get store credit instead of a refund?
Yes — and choosing store credit waives the return shipping and handling fee entirely.
What if the item I'm returning is defective?
Run it through our troubleshooting/warranty claim process first. If we confirm a defect, the return shipping fee may be waived. Skipping this step means the standard return shipping fee will apply.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and process your return, we issue the refund to your original payment method. Plan on up to 14 business days for it to post, though your bank may take a bit longer on their end.
A note on unauthorized returns: requests outside the return window, or items that come back used, damaged, or missing original materials, may be declined or refunded only in part.
